TEHRAN – The Popular Front of Revolution Forces has applied for formal recognition by the Ministry of Interior, the front’s public relations director Amir Ebrahim Rasouli said on Wednesday.

Rasouli said legal procedures for registering the front are currently underway at related organizations, Mehr news agency reported. 

He said application for recognition came through a letter by Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, the founder of the front, to the ministry.
